Random Rap. #001
This week's run of music will cover both the random rap phenomenon, and all those mp3 blogs you gave up on weeding through every week. Note: for my purposes I am not going to necessarily stick with the '87-'91 range when labeling something "random rap", as evidenced by the following track from '95.
There's just something about Dunt Da Dunt Dunt by Boostin' Kev that I love. He sounds a bit like Biz, but I think it's the "chick, chick here and a chick, chick there" sample in the chorus that really does it. I can image playing this on The Breaks everytime I needed to follow up some other slower rap song.
