I saw the parade went on as planned on NBC nightly news. The gathering of what looked like 20 or so homeless people and a mule-drawn carriage was referred to as the "decadence" parade, and the close on the story was: "and so the decadence parade rolls on, but perhaps THIS year (pause) "defiance" parade would be more suitable." ...John.

Hard to think about Southern Decadence without thinking of Shillak. Apparently, the show goes on.
