I'm Not a Fan, I'm Also In The Movie

Since we have all determined that we are actually going to drop the ten bucks to see this new, latest and last chapter of the saga that defined a good portion of our childhood, I figured I would open up a discussion on when and where we can all meet to see Star Wars, Episode III, Revenge of the Sith. Make sure you have your costume ready.

... and yes, that is actor Peter Mayhew, who plays Chewbacca, wearing a Chewbacca shirt. Hopefully he isn't contributing to this smut.

I've got one word - "noooooooooooo"

I would like to go tonight, but since no one has replied it doesn't seem like it's that pressing for anyone.

I don't think I'm going to be free until Sunday. I am probably pretty open from then on.

I'm out of town until basically next weekend. so i'll just wait for the dvd.

it's already out on bittorrent anyways. cinemas are for losers.

and you call yourselves nerds?!? for shame.

How about we shoot for a sunday matinee? Maybe visit ye olde X Amount compound first so we can rub it in daddy's face before emersing ourselves in geeky sci-fi mythology? Pyoo pyoo!

Dang chambermaid, you beat me to it! I was hoping to get in a Saturday afternoon matinee. But whatever works best for the "group"

So ... imma ditch work early today and catch a matinee at 4:15 at Parkway Point 15. Anyone else???

Still up for tomorrow or Sunday as well, of course ...

No can do today.... But I'm all in for tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow afternoon sounds good to me. Regal is my theater of choice. I think it's playing on at least 6 screens there, so there shouldn't be too much of a ticket issue, hopefully.

aight. i'm in for tomorrow. since it's actually s'posed to be good this time, a second viewing is likely warranted anyways.

What do you guys say to the 2:15 show at Hollywood 24 then.... and if we miss it, 2:45. But I would rather see the earlier show so I can get on with my life sooner afterwards...

I am in for 2:15. I can go and pick-up tickets beforehand, if we get a final count of how many people are going.

count Silke and I in.

count me in, too.

While I did enjoy the film [partly by not allowing myself to notice the majority of its shortcomings ... it IS Star Wars, afterall], this quick review sums it all up nicely [tasty nod to Chappelle in the SL, to boot].
